Notes:
Wtd Pull-ups were abysmal. I probably need to incorporate more dead hang pull-ups somewhere. I think I've lost some raw strength due to all the kipping.
Came out too strong in the metcon. I busted out 12 in the first round with 15 seconds to spare...I did 8 in 25 sec and almost stopped, but felt like I was just standing around. I did stop each round w/ approximately 15 seconds to spare prior to the TTBs.
If this ever comes up again, I'm going to be more conservative on the front end and try to get into a manageable pace. Had I stopped at 7-8 the first round I may have been able to maintain that pace longer...who knows...

Ended up about where I thought I would on the HPS.

Goofed up my DL loads. Meant to jump to 465 for the second set not 455. The jump was too big between the 455 and 490. I let the weight pull me out over the bar too much rather than sitting back. I pulled it once and then left it on the platform. My form was off so I decided to cut my losses. The heaviest I have gone in the past 2 months is 500# and 490 is only 10# off of that and it was pulled from a deficit today.

HSPUs told the tale on this WOD. I was hoping to be somewhere between 3-4 min on this, but muscle failure became the deciding factor...not today...not today...

Notes:
Didn't have a good day on the Split Jerk. I felt pretty unstable and actually had to dump 255# on the second rep from the top. I lost control before recovering to a standing position. Only hit 265# for one single. Felt fairly easy, but I ended up being a mental marshmallow after the debacle at 255# and didn't come close to my PR. I barely tried 275#. Didn't go for it...

HSPUs were done as two singles at a time alternating with Ben. The first two were head-to-deck, the last 28 were all to a 25# bumper. I did start doing a 3-4 second negative in addition to the concentric around rep 22ish.

Metcon was a grind...just tried to survive it...

Eh...ended up about 25# lighter on HPC than what I was hoping and 10# higher on the DL than I was planning. The metcon started out rough, but ended alright I guess.

I need to make sure I am warmed up better before doing a ME. I really didn't even start feeling even slightly warm until I hit 275-290#...which is stupid...
